What do you do at Lantana Communications?
I am the accounting manager here at Lantana Communications.
What attracted you to Lantana? And what keeps you here?
I noticed a sense of teamwork from the beginning and a close unit all focused on making the company grow. Lantana treats its employees like family, and I knew it would be a great place to grow in my career while also keeping my family as a priority. Lantana keeps stiving to facilitate communication within other companies and the fact that I play a small role in making that possible is self-rewarding.
What’s energizing you and your work right now? What drives you?
I have to say, my Kiddos! They keep me on my toes and push me to better myself in everything, including my job. I try to lead with example, I want my kids to know they can meet their goals by working hard every day! I strive to be better than the person I was yesterday both at home and at work.
What is your special talent?
I enjoy puzzles! Crossword puzzles, Sudoku, Jigsaw puzzles or anything similar to those activities. I enjoy these things as I can do them by myself or with my family!
How does your special talent align with your work at Lantana?
I think puzzles help me in the critical thinking aspect of my job, getting better at it. I believe in accounting it all comes together like a puzzle at end of the day.
What is a quote you live by?
Be grateful
Just being grateful for my present circumstances, the good and the bad. The bad sometimes comes with lessons to be learned and helps us grow and we tend to forget that. Being grateful for what I have and who surrounds me always keeps a smile on my face!
