Summary
Qualifies leads and solicits orders for
products or services over the telephone by
performing the following duties.
Education/Experience
Minimum three years related experience in a
professional office environment.
Duties |
- Helps develop established script to
use when calling prospects
- Calls prospective customers in
designated market area to qualify leads
and explain type of service or product
offered
- Secures and places orders with
others for filling
- Enters names, addresses, purchases,
and reactions of prospects solicited
into computer database system
- Follows up with customers to assure
satisfaction, responds to queries,
solicit further sales, and solve or
refer problems
- Develops lists of prospects from
city and telephone directories, trade
and professional association membership
lists, and other public records
- Prepares report on sales activities.
