The Avaya INTUITY™ AUDIX® Multimedia Messaging
System provides a universal eBusiness messaging platform
for voice messaging, fax, and e-mail access. Message access
is accomplished through both a telephone user interface
and a visual desktop computer interface. Text-to-speech
capabilities further allow the user to access messages
anytime, anywhere. Every INTUITY™ AUDIX system is “multimedia
enabled” today with the ability to accept voice,
fax, text, file attachments, and e-mail as valid message
types. This unique architecture allows for mixing of media
types within messages. For example, a user can send an
e-mail message with a voice message attached to add clarity
to the communication.
Multiple applications—call processing, automated
attendant, voice and fax messaging, and visual desktop
applications that include e-mail access—are supported
on a single INTUITY™ AUDIX platform, using universal ports.
All seats (mailboxes) include voice, fax, and visual desktop
messaging functionality as standard. All licensing is also
included. Standard features include Internet Messaging,
AMIS, INTUITY™ Digital Networking, text-to-speech, four
languages, Visual Desktop Messaging software, and Mailbox
Manager™ software. The System Administrator determines
who has access to which features. All disks are fully authorized
for the maximum amount of hours, without requiring you
to pay over and over for the same disk space! Capacity
on demand allows your ports and mailboxes to grow as you
do.
The INTUITY™ AUDIX platform is available in three models, each retaining all
of
the feature sets and applications yet providing cost-effective sizing to meet
individual office requirements. The current software release was introduced in
January, 2001. The Model 5, for small businesses, can support a maximum of 18
ports, 175 hours of storage, and 15,000 seats (100,000 remote networked). The
Model 40, for small and medium sized businesses with single or multiple locations,
supports a maximum of 42 ports, 600 hours storage, and 15,000 seats (100,000
remote networked). The Model 100, for larger operations with single or multiple
locations, supports a maximum of 64 ports, 1,400 hours storage, and 20,000 seats
(100,000 remote networked.) |
