Gracie Narey, Director of Accounting for Lantana Communications, was elected Region 7 Director for the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) at the region’s annual Forum held April 10, 2011 in San Antonio, Texas. NAWIC Region 7 consists of 9 chapters in Texas and Oklahoma and has a current membership of approximately 350.
Gracie has been employed in the construction industry for over 25 years. She is a 10 year member and past President of NAWIC’s Fort Worth Chapter No. 1. The association was founded by the Fort Worth Chapter in 1953 and has approximately 4000 members across the United States and has 5 international affiliates. Gracie will be installed as Director of Region 7 at the NAWIC National Convention in St. Louis, Missouri on September 2, 2011. Join us in congratulating Gracie on a job well done!
